Area Dining:
When you desire to go out, Southwest Florida is loaded
with restaurants of all kind, from the fast-food variety for a quick
snack to the most elegant of affairs. Local dining guides are available
at newsstands, and the local newspapers feature regular reviews of the
area's dining establishments.
Cape Coral Parkway and Downtown Area - Only a mile from the condo
this area features many varied restaurants including ethnic foods, family
dining, seafood and steak houses.
Del Prado Boulevard Cape Coral - Also a short distance from the
condo, this area is lined with many enjoyable restaurants.
Ft. Myers Downtown - Across the mighty Caloosahatchee River to
the northeast is Ft. Myers Downtown area which features clubs &
restaurants
U.S. Route 41 - Many restaurants line this main thoroughfare
all the way from North Fort Myers, south through Naples and beyond.
Most every major road in the area will provide a wide choice
of dining selections.

Beaches:
The Gulf Of Mexico is only minutes away from the Condo
and offers miles of sandy beaches. Especially beautiful is the afternoon
and evening when the sun sets over the waters of the gulf.
Cape Coral Yacht Club - olny a short distance from the Condo
this area is publicly owned by the city of Cape Coral and features a
fishing pier, sandy beach & picnic area
Fort Myers Beach and Estero Island - a miles-long strip of barrier
island featuring beaches, fishing piers, dining and shopping
Sanibel and Captiva Island - Connected to Ft. Myers by a 3 mile
long causeway, these islands are world famous for wildlife, shell beaches
(bring your sandals) dining and shopping in a relaxed old-Florida environment.

Throughout the area are many opportunities to go out
and see the sights!
Thomas Edison / Henry Ford Winter Estates
Ding-Darling wildlife sanctuary on Sanibel Island
Caloosahatchee River boat tours and Casino cruises (in season)
Fishing trips and scenic water cruises are also available

The Surrounding Area:
The Southwest Florida region includes the cities of Cape
Coral, Fort Myers, and Naples, along with the outlying areas of Fort
Myers Beach, Sanibel & Captiva islands, Pine Island - Matlacha,
Bonita, and Punta-Gorda.
Nearby to the south is the Everglades National Wildlife Preserve
with many areas to tour and view the great wildlife of this immense
eco-system.
Miami and the east coast of Florida is about a 2-hour drive by
car over Interstate 75 (Alligator Alley)
Tampa / St. Petersburg and Busch Gardens is a 2-hour drive north
on Interstate 75
Orlando, with Disney, Sea World, and Universal Studio theme parks,
is about a 4-hour drive away to the north.
